Biography

Kundai Mudzviti, MSc, Chart.PR (CIPR) Kundai Mudzviti is an award-winning Public Relations practitioner and strategic communications professional with extensive experience in corporate communications, media relations, stakeholder engagement, reputation management, and sustainability communication. She currently serves as the Public Relations Officer at Fidelity Gold Refinery, Zimbabwe's national refiner, buyer and exporter of gold, where she leads initiatives that strengthen the organisation's public image, foster stakeholder confidence, and support strategic business objectives through effective communication. Before joining Fidelity Gold Refinery, Kundai served as a University Lecturer at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), where she taught Journalism and Media Studies, mentored students, and contributed to academic research and curriculum development. Kundai holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Journalism and Media Studies and a Master of Science Degree in Journalism and Media Studies, both from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST). She is a Certified Chartered Public Relations Practitioner (Chart.PR) accredited by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), reflecting her commitment to the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and excellence in public relations practice. She is deeply passionate about Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and champions the role of strategic communication in advancing sustainability, responsible corporate citizenship, ethical leadership, stakeholder inclusivity, and transparent governance. She believes that effective communication is fundamental to building trust, promoting sustainable business practices, and creating long-term value for organisations and society.
