Welcome to ZWAB

Women at the heart of conservation and community

ZWAB empowers women in Zimbabwe to promote wildlife farming, sustainable agriculture, safe mining and environmental conservation, while improving livelihoods and preserving the biome.

We work across sustainable agriculture, wildlife & conservation, safe mining, climate action and community development — with a focus on empowering young women aged 18–35 to lead, advocate and transform their communities.

What We Do

Wildlife & Conservation

Women-led wildlife farming and biodiversity conservation that protects species, habitats and value chains.

Climate Action

Community-driven responses to climate change, from reforestation to climate-resilient health and adaptation.

Environmental Sustainability

Practical stewardship of land, water and ecosystems through integrated, sustainable land use.

Community & Inclusion

Strengthening communities through leadership, mentorship and the inclusion of youth and people with disabilities.

Our Work

Featured Projects

Programmes and initiatives led by and for Zimbabwean women.

Projects will appear here once published.

Women in Action

Leaders, entrepreneurs, conservationists, decision-makers

Women are not merely beneficiaries of ZWAB's work — they are at the centre of it. From sustainable harvests to conservation and climate action, women lead every step.

Fathers, uncles and grandfathers benefit too — by seeing their daughters and loved ones achieve their potential and shape the future of their communities.
