Biography
Michelle Phillip is a Registered Legal Practitioner, Compliance Professional, and Deputy Director of Crisis Management at the Zimbabwe Women’s Association of the Biome (ZWAB), holding a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) Degree from the University of Zimbabwe. With experience across the financial services and manufacturing sectors, she specialises in regulatory compliance, corporate governance, enterprise risk management, and legal advisory. She supports organisations in strengthening compliance frameworks, managing risks, and promoting ethical and sustainable business practices. Michelle is actively working on projects in partnership with African Climate Vanguard that advance climate resilience, sustainable agriculture, and inclusive development across Africa, including initiatives that empower smallholder famers, strengthen food security and promote sustainable livelihoods.
